Fifty years ago, a family business began with the hard work and 
stamina of Frances Van Epps. Starting out in the basement of her home, Fran raised her two sons, Robert and James, by doing what she loved. She was always there for her community, whenever someone needed flowers for a special occasion. Robert joined the family business as soon as he got his license at age 16, delivering flowers for his Mom. The business grew... and so did the kids! Before you knew it, Fran's grandchildren, Melissa and Craig, were helping out at the roadside stand. Melissa Van Epps-Goudreau now carries the torch as the third generatio
n of Fran's Flowers, taking the same pride in producing fresh flower arrangements for all occasions. She also handles plants, silks, balloons, and fruit and gourmet baskets. Melissa, along with her parents, Bob and Sandy, welcome you to Fran's Flowers on the corner of Orangeport Road and Brewerton Road six days a week. They can be reached 24 hours a day thanks to modern technology, and send gifts anywhere in the world. The landmark of their neon sign on at 9517 Br

To be eligible, you must fill out the entry form at www.frans50.com and submit via the internet. Contest begins at 12:00 am ET on 8/1/09. Entries must be received by 11:59 pm ET on 1/10/2010. Winners to be selected at random as provided in official rules, on or about 1/16/2010. Contest prize “wedding” is a custom flower order for a one-time special event, such as a wedding, anniversary party, or other gathering. Contest prize “wedding” value is $300 maximum including delivery and/or setup fees and sales tax. If “wedding” winner’s desired order is greater than $300 as determined by Fran’s, winner will pay the difference in price. Contest prize “wedding” must be redeemed before 12/31/2010 and must be within Fran’s Flowers geographical delivery area. Contest prize “gift certificates” will also be drawn at random for 2 gift certificates, each valued at $100, to be redeemed before 12/31/2010 in store or by telephone for any products or services from Fran’s Flowers. POTENTIAL WINNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED VIA telephone. Void where prohibited by law. Participation is subject to official rules and certain restrictions apply.
